I was brought on to the HYPEBEAST team to help conceptualize and build its print magazine from its inaugural issue to issue 14.
I worked under my then-managing editor, Edward Chiu, who passed the reigns over to me after Issue 4 to continue running the publication.
As the Publication Managing Editor, I was tasked with deciding each issue's overarching theme, curating the featured content, content format, principal correspondent for each feature, management of all assets, selective interviews and copy writing, creative direction alongside our
in-house designer, marketing and events, distribution, and curation of paid ads.

While working on the magazine, I was able to contribute editorially, with both op-ed pieces and long-form interviews. Through these features, I was fortunate enough to meet and cover the story of myriad incredible names within the creative world.

This included the likes of Shawn Stussy,
Nicola Formichetti, NIGO, James Jebbia,
Paul Smith, A$AP Rocky, G-DRAGON,
Verbal & Yoon, Thom Browne, Takashi Murakami, Tinker Hatfield, Hiroshi Fujiwara,
Sarah Andelman, Ari Marcopoulos,
Emmanuel Perrotin, Hiroki Nakamura,
Yohji Yamamoto, Nick Knight, Tetsu Nishiyama, and many more.

In addition to the HYPEBEAST Magazine, I also came up with the concept for The HYPEBEAST Paper. This was a free-to-pick-up publication that served to bring more timely news that was more in-depth than HYPEBEAST's online platform, as well as being more accessible to its global audience.

The HYEPEBAST Paper was also used as a canvas for sponsored editions, such as for the Levi's Station to Station campaign.
